Upstream from the Grand Canyon, the Colorado twists back upon itself to form this picturesque scene. Getting here requires a mile walk across the hot desert. I was motivated to make the trip when a Volkswagen pulled up and out came two women dressed in straw hats, sneakers, and bikinis.
