Like reading an article, the subject's position in the right side of the frame, naturally leads your eye to begin its exploration into the series with this photograph. I gave the subject complete freedom to interact with the “frame” for each shot as she saw fit. The only limitation was that for each subsequent photograph she was to stay anchored to the frame in some fashion.

This photograph plays with the perspective of our organic form. By having her body pushed back, her gnarled hand in the foreground, and her torso at an extreme angle and extension, the subject sets your perspective slightly off balance to begin this chronicle.
