Stone Surf
Antelope Canyon, near Page, Arizona is a protected Navajo treasure. Carved by flood waters over the centuries, it twists its way through a butte for half a mile. At some locations, the water has broken through to the top of the flat butte, letting in sunlight to flood the intricate cave. This shot was taken with the camera pointed up into one such vent. It reminds me of ocean surf breaking on the shore.
